Ashleigh Clark of Saskatoon was crowned Miss Saskatchewan on Saturday and will represent the province at a national competition in August.
Clark, 23, won the provincial contest Saturday in Saskatoon. The University of Saskatchewan business student will go on to the national Galaxy Pageant in Ottawa.
"I'm really proud of the girls, and to be an ambassador for Saskatchewan means the world to me," Clark said. "The next year will be a very rewarding experience."
Clark, along with Miss Teen Saskatchewan Mikaela Peterson, will make appearances during the coming year and raise money for two charities, YMCA Strong Kids and For the Love of the Children Society.
Peterson will head to the national teen competition in Ottawa. The 16-year-old lives in Bengough, south of Regina.
"It was a great experience," Peterson said. "I went for fun and I met some amazing girls."
